Points West Living Cold Lake is a thriving community offering 52 Designated Supportive Living spaces, including 12 suites with Memory Care. Our two-story community, opened in 2013, is designed to be seniors-friendly, featuring barrier-free spaces, state-of-the-art technology, and safety features.

Community Services

Our community is dedicated to the Eden Alternative Philosophy of Care, emphasizing maximum independence, choice, and dignity for each resident. We provide a range of services, including professional health care, food services that are prepared on-site, a wide range of activities, housekeeping and linen service, personal laundry, and more. Points West Living Cold Lake provides homemade meals prepared on-site by our trained staff, based on a 9-week menu cycle approved by a Dietary Technologist. We accommodate texture-modified diets and offer flexibility within the menu cycle for holidays, special events, and residents’ requests. Our residents can expect an emergency response system, spa/tub room, hair salon, guest suite, and ample parking.

Community Amenities

Points West Living Cold Lake provides 24-hour on-site staff, housekeeping services, and delicious dining programs. Residents can indulge in the spa/tub room, visit the hair salon, enjoy the exercise room and multipurpose rooms, and relax in the secure outdoor areas with walking paths, gardens, and seating. Our community grounds include walking paths, gardens, trees, shrubs, benches, and tables with chairs.

Our community is equipped with an elevator, guest suite, ample parking, emergency response system, and safety features such as smoke detectors, strobe lights, and sprinkler systems. We welcome residents using walkers and wheelchairs, ensuring maximum mobility. Residents and their families can have peace of mind with our 24-hour emergency response system and discreet security for memory care units, including a fenced wandering area. Our community is designed with accessibility features like roll-in showers, track lifts, and extra-wide corridors.

Points West Living Cold Lake collaborates with local physicians to offer on-site services. While our community is not within walking distance of shopping and medical offices, we provide ample parking and facilitate the Handibus service for residents.
