Points West Living Cold Lake is a thriving community offering 52 Designated Supportive Living spaces, including 12 suites with Memory Care. Our two-story community, opened in 2013, is designed to be seniors-friendly, featuring barrier-free spaces, state-of-the-art technology, and safety features.

Our community is dedicated to the Eden Alternative Philosophy of Care, emphasizing maximum independence, choice, and dignity for each resident. We provide a range of services, including professional health care, food services that are prepared on-site, a wide range of activities, housekeeping and linen service, personal laundry, and more. Points West Living Cold Lake provides homemade meals prepared on-site by our trained staff, based on a 9-week menu cycle approved by a Dietary Technologist. We accommodate texture-modified diets and offer flexibility within the menu cycle for holidays, special events, and residents’ requests. Our residents can expect an emergency response system, spa/tub room, hair salon, guest suite, and ample parking.

Our site is managed by a Licensed Practical Nurse or experienced Healthcare Administrator, supported by an on-call Registered Nurse and Physician. Certified Health Care Aids, trained at accredited colleges within Alberta, provide hands-on care to residents. Points West Living Cold Lake collaborates with local physicians to offer on-site services. While our community is not within walking distance of shopping and medical offices, we provide ample parking and facilitate the Handibus service for residents.
