As an engaging leader, Ginger Bitzer works with organizations to ignite passion and align purpose with their greatest asset – people. She is passionate about the potential of people and building great work cultures that are inclusive, where everyone thrives, and value is embraced.
Over the course of her career, Ginger has built high performance teams that are established on a foundation of trust. She believes that her experience in healthcare operations and serving those living with different abilities, provides her with a competitive advantage as a human resources leader. This strong operational acumen guides her in developing a well-aligned people strategy.
Ginger holds an undergraduate degree in Human Services Administration, is a Chartered Member of CPHR Alberta, and holds the CPHR designation.
Sally Banek
Sally BanekExecutive Director of Finance
As Executive Director of Finance, Sally is responsible for Accounting, Payroll, Contracts, and Information Technology. She is a CPA, CMA with prior senior level experience in global consumer products, heavy machinery, oil and gas, and distribution. She has worked in mergers and acquisitions, held a key role in a global ERP implementation, and led improvement initiatives throughout her career. Sally also worked in recruitment for a period, where she specialized in consulting with senior leaders building their finance and accounting teams. At Connecting Care, Sally is proud to lead her dedicated team through change and growth. Sally is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from CPA Alberta, is a Past Chairperson of the Edmonton Chapter of CPA Alberta, and a member of the Finance and Risk Management Committee of the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation.
Stephanie Miller
Stephanie MillerExecutive Director of Strategy
As Executive Director of Strategy for Connecting Care 2000 Inc. (CC), Stephanie is responsible for the development of strategy, communities, programs, and services that support individuals in leading lives that are full, active, and healthy, regardless of age or changed ability. She looks at ways to integrate new and creative methods to enrich life experiences, provide growth and inspiration, and promote independence and dignity for individuals in the community. Stephanie has served in numerous executive roles, including operations, acquisitions, operational planning, and corporate accreditation. Stephanie was nominated and awarded the 2014 CLPNA Pat Fredrickson Excellence in Leadership Award. Before joining the CC team, Stephanie worked as a nurse in rural Alberta and helped develop and deliver the training for the standardized electronic health record for Home Care in Central Alberta.
