Over the course of her career, Ginger has built high performance teams that are established on a foundation of trust. She believes that her experience in healthcare operations and serving those living with different abilities, provides her with a competitive advantage as a human resources leader. This strong operational acumen guides her in developing a well-aligned people strategy.
Ginger holds an undergraduate degree in Human Services Administration, is a Chartered Member of CPHR Alberta, and holds the CPHR designation.
Sally Banek
Sally BanekChief Financial Officer
Sally is responsible for Financial Reporting, Risk Management, Treasury, Financial Operations, Contracts, and Information Technology. She is a CPA, CMA with prior senior level experience in global consumer products, heavy machinery, oil and gas, and distribution. She has worked in mergers and acquisitions, held a key role in a global ERP implementation, and led improvement initiatives throughout her career. Sally also worked in recruitment for a period, where she specialized in consulting with senior leaders building their finance and accounting teams. At Connecting Care, Sally is proud to lead her dedicated team through change and growth. Sally is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from CPA Alberta, is a Past Chairperson of the Edmonton Chapter of CPA Alberta, and a member of the Finance and Risk Management Committee of the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation.
Stephanie Miller

As Chief Operating Officer for Connecting Care 2000 Inc., Stephanie is responsible for the operational branch of the organization – providing care and support to our residents. She supports teams with the ongoing development of strategy, quality of service in communities, Eden philosophy, and services that support individuals in leading lives that are full, active, and healthy, regardless of age or changed ability.

Stephanie looks at ways to integrate new and creative methods to enrich life experiences, provide growth and inspiration, and promote independence and dignity for Care Partners and individuals in the community. She has served in numerous executive roles, including strategy, acquisitions, operational planning, and corporate accreditation. Before joining the Connecting Care team, Stephanie worked as a nurse in rural Alberta and helped develop and deliver the training for the standardized electronic health record for Home Care in Central Alberta. Stephanie was nominated and awarded the 2014 CLPNA Pat Fredrickson Excellence in Leadership Award.

Doug Murphy
Doug MurphyChief Business Development Officer
Doug Murphy is a proven leader with over 30 years experience throughout the seniors care and housing industry. Initially trained as a Certified General Accountant his focus has been on executive management roles since entering the seniors care and housing field. Doug has held positions as Vice President, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.

He has been involved in all aspects of the development of over 30 seniors housing and care communities. As a constant innovator with an eye for detail Doug has assembled and leads an exceptional team in Development Services.

Since 2003, Doug has participated in and advised on many Merger and Acquisition transactions throughout the seniors care and housing industry, with a valuation in excess of $800 million. Doug was a valuable part of the Chartwell Initial Public Offering and played a significant role in the Points West Living Limited Partnership management buyout. He was a part of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of Points West Living and remains a Special Advisor to the Board.
